“Come on Gibbsy”
SEAN ASTIN DISHES ON ‘NCIS’ STINT
Fans largely reacted well to the debut of Jamie Lee Curtis on NCIS this week, and her second outing will likely prove to be even better because the episode also marks the debut of Sean Astin’s character, a fellow PsychOps investigator who comes in to assist on a case.
When I spoke to him about the role, Astin, who could possibly guest in more than one episode, had nothing but praise for his character and fellow co-star Curtis. But what popped out to me the most? The dish he gave me on the budding relationship between Gibbs (Mark Harmon) and Curtis’ Dr. Ryan, and how it will effect their teams. “The fun thing is that Cote [de Pablo] and Michael Weatherly and me — as the corollary on Jamie’s side of the equation — are a little unsettled that their bosses might be having the start of a romantic something or other,” he says. “They’re usually so focused on what they’re doing and have a very sober approach to life. And now there’s something going on and we’re all a little uneasy. We’re like the uncomfortable kids whose parents might be dating.”
Sounds like we can look for at least a few good laughs in the ep, but also brace yourself for some action. “I got to see some action! There was some discussion about whether or not I got to carry a firearm. And I do!” Astin says.

My Aunt posted this on Facebook, and then an idea came to me! I hope you enjoy it!
Anthony DiNozzo had to admit, being a taken man had it’s advantages. Especially when he was taken by Ziva David.
But sometimes, man! Did it feel like there were more disadvantages. He could name so many reasons. Not being able to sleep in because Ziva was running. Or not being able to watch a good blow-em-up flick because his sweetheart wanted to watch a sappy romance movie. Yeah, he’d learned Ziva was a sucker for those ones. Especially when it included the words: shirtless and Gerard Butler.
Tony really disliked those five AM wakeups to go running. He ran with her though. Even if he ran slightly behind her. Something inside him drove him to run and protect her. There was no way he could bear to lose her after all they’ve been through together.
But, the main disadvantage for DiNozzo was the lack of blankets he got at night. Through September to June. It drove him insane. He’d wake up, and half his soft blanket would be dragging on the floor. The other draped lazily over Ziva’s body. Once he thought of stealing it back. However, after much debating Tony decided it would probably cost him either a limb or an eye.
Along with not having any blankets, Ziva liked to stretch out her feet and place them right onto Tony’s back. Those were the times he knew she was awake. Her feet were like little ice cubes against his back. Sometimes, he thought he would get hypothermia they were so damn cold. But he suffered through those cold nights in order to save his limbs.
One night, he couldn’t take it anymore.
“Psst! Ziva!” he hissed.
Ziva rolled over, freeing his back from the icicles, “Mmm?”
“Share the blankets, please?!” he begged now.
Ziva shot up in bed. She pulled the blankets closer around her body, “No! I am cold!”
“Please Ziva!” Tony protested, he searched for her in the dark and finally found the outline of her face, “I am cold! Your feet are like ice!”
“Go back to sleep, Tony,”
Tony huffed a sigh and fell back asleep. He awoke about an hour later… to find himself warm. Warm! He glanced down and found Ziva snuggled against him, with the blankets tucked around them.
Ahh. Now he could finally sleep.
